Stealth-Mode B2B Startup

We seek a web developer to join our Boston based stealth mode start-up building an innovative business-to-business web application which solves a real problem. The market opportunity is in the billions of dollars. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a company from the ground up.

We are looking for an engineering all-star who has demonstrated an understanding of what makes an intuitive web user experience and wants to be part of our small, dynamic team. Successful candidates must thrive in an unstructured environment and should be willing and able to pitch in wherever necessary to get this product out the door. You will be involved with all areas of the product.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in developing Ruby on Rails applications
• Experience with developing user interfaces using Ajax with some exposure to Flash a plus 
• Experience in developing eCommerce applications 
• Proficient in MySQL and query optimization. 
• Ideally the deployment of Ruby on Rails applications and/or Linux experience 
• Working knowledge of XHTML, CSS and XML. HAML and REST knowledge is a plus.

I work at mirRoR, where we connect agile Rails developers and employers.

We started as Rails programmers ourselves (and are currently working on a few social, facebook, and iPhone apps). This background and network help us identify quality opportunities in the industry.
