We are currently seeking a Ruby on Rails Software Developer with the following responsibilities:

Responsibilities:

Develop Ruby on Rails based web applications
Develop AJAX-based web interfaces
Integrate applications with standards compliant HTML and CSS
Create modular and performant code for a database driven website
Will attend National and Local Ruby/Rails conferences on behalf of company

Qualifications/Experience:

BS in Computer Science or equivalent
Strong object-oriented (OO) software development/CS background
5+ years of experience developing high traffic consumer facing
database driven web applications using Java or Python/Zope
Experience using Ruby on Rails developing professional web applications
Experience using and administering Linux a plus
