Mobile Multimedia Content Delivery

We are looking to revolutionize the way the people access Multimedia content on their mobile devices. We are looking for a full time Web Developer whose primary responsibilities will be to design and develop Software focusing on multimedia, mobile devices, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have experience in architecting and developing highly scalable software that includes multimedia, customer signup, databases, content management, and content delivery. The ideal candidate should also be able to solve problems under pressure, provide guidance to other team members, and be able to interface with vendors and customers.

Job Responsibilities:

• Help design and develop highly scalable back end web software to support multimedia applications from prototype to delivery
• Develop web applications with ties to databases and third party systems 
• Design and implement APIs for use by third party companies 
• Interface with third party APIs from partner companies  
• Work with our sales team to insure that our solutions meet the needs of our customers 
• Solve technical problems and implement those solutions as robust, scalable, maintainable software  
• Configuration of development and deployment servers  
• Working with a small team to get tasks done quickly in an exciting and dynamic work environment

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Server Development languages (PHP, ASP, Ruby, etc.)
• Proficiency in AJAX 
• Proficiency configuring Apache 
• Experience with source control and build software, such as CVS, SVN, and ANT. 
• Thorough knowledge of software design concepts, such as object-oriented programming, common design patterns/algorithms, and development lifecycles 
• Ability to multi-task 
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering 
• A passion for mobile devices and multimedia
