Measuring and managing greenhouse gas emissions has become a core focus of corporate sustainability, purchasing, and product development teams worldwide. Companies are looking to make more optimal environmental decisions. However, companies do not understand their impacts, risks, or where to focus their management effort. The emissions intelligence needed to inform and direct management decisions is largely unavailable. Furthermore, currently available carbon footprinting solutions are either difficult and costly, or else provide limited utility for companies looking to manage the environmental impact of their operations and products.

Most companies measure their emissions using simple spreadsheets downloaded from government or EPA websites, or they hire time and resource intensive LCA consultants who research the comprehensive environmental impact of their products and their supply chain. We are the first to market with an application based on a standardized method for measuring environmental impact initially developed by Carnegie Mellon Univeristy. Through extensive enhancements and by lowering the barrier to entry, we focus and streamline traditional LCA approaches giving companies peer-reviewed, transparent analytics in a timely and cost-effective emissions intelligence solution. Our unique emissions intelligence capabilities and data comprehensiveness and quality provide our customers maximum utility in informing business decisions about emissions reduction efforts, sources of competitive advantage, and managing impacts and risks.
