Social Media Content Encouragement
We are a seed-stage startup building a social media content encouragement system. We are looking to hire an outstanding tech lead who will own the backend. Title and comp will depend on the capabilities and experience of the person hired. Guru-level engineers, architects and CTOs are welcome.

Must:
- 5+ yrs experience w/ at least 3+ yrs in dynamic startup environments in a technology leadership (not necessarily management!) position
- Demonstrated ability to architect, design and develop scalable Web backends
- Outstanding startup team player who can keep his/her ego in check, loves to eat hard problems for breakfast and enjoys mentoring junior talent
- Dedicated, risk-taking, inspired individual who loves technology and wishes to build compelling products and a successful business that delight customers
Plus:
- Big network of industry contacts
- Built a web site in a startup environment from scratch
- Built CMS or e-commerce platform
- Deep SEO experience
- Deep knowledge of (semi-)structured date
- Ruby/Rails/Merb, JSON, SOA/Web services, AJAX, SQL, XML, CouchDB
- Involvement in the open-source community
